Whether you want a grab and go option or sit down to a meal, Charlotte has something for everyone. Here are a few of our favorite family-friendly restaurants that are close to the Charlotte Convention Center. All of the restaurants are quick and easy so you don’t miss a thing at MommyCon Charlotte.
For an easy breakfast before the convention starts, Einstein Bros. has freshly baked bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast bagel sandwiches! Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you won’t want to skip it because you will need all the energy you can get for a packed day at MommyCon.
Grab a giant slice at Fuel Pizza. This is a great option for either take out or delivery. Whether you want a whole pie or just a slice, they have a wide variety of pizzas and toppings. Not feeling like pizza? Try their garlic or buffalo wings. We also hear the garlic knots are amazing!
Are you looking for some quick traditional southern comfort food? Bojangles’ has just what you need and it’s located right inside the Convention Center. They specialize in cajun seasoning, fried chicken, and buttermilk biscuits. Plus, they serve breakfast all day so you can get some eggs, sausage or bacon for dinner!
Amélie’s French Bakery
Whether you want a cup of joe or a sandwich on a baguette, you can get it at Amélie’s French Bakery. The food and beverages are reasonably priced and there are free refills when ordering coffee in a mug. Since the weather will be nice, head outside with your kids and relax in the outdoor seating.
A block or two away from the Convention Center is the counter service restaurant B.GOOD. It offers a variety of food options from baked fries to a kale and grain bowl. Their ingredients are sourced sustainably from local farms in the community.
