MommyCon :: MommyCon Chicago Day 2

MommyCon Chicago Day 2

It’s a wrap on Day 2 of MommyCon Chicago 2018!

From babywearing to breastfeeding, we saw it all. First time attendees and those who have been coming for years were in awe at how large our convention has grown. There was a mixed crowd of attendees who have been here for multiple years and ones who were seeing the convention through new eyes. Amy Lauren purchased a ring sling on the exhibitor floor and took it straight into the babywearing session to learn how to carry her newborn. She thought it felt really comfortable and liked the independence it gave her since she “hasn’t had her hands free for the last five weeks.”

Attendees of all ages enjoyed browsing through the expansive exhibitor hall. Parents and children could find whatever they were looking for from custom capes to stylish maternity wear. Joseph Pilger and his son enjoyed looking at the toys while mom shopped. Pilger likes how many dads are here because he gets to meet others who also support their wives like him.

Parents spent some time with their children playing in the exhibitor hall. Joshua Rauch said his son, “starts to dance the second he hears a beat.”

MommyCon 2018 is not over yet! Tomorrow will be another full day of sessions and shopping.
