MommyCon is headed back to Atlanta on October 28, 2017. It is my pleasure to introduce you to the MommyCon Atlanta Bloggers! They are parenting bloggers who love to share their parenting journeys and help spread the word about the MommyCon community.
Ashley – Play Enthusiasm
Ms. Ashley is the early childhood enthusiast and play advocate based on the Atlanta area. Having worked with many children over the course of fifteen years, she is a teacher, event planner for children and a new mommy to a seven month old baby boy!
What is your favorite thing about MommyCon? The stuff! Just so much stuff! Giveaways, workshops, information, vendors! Mommycon just has so much value for the ticket you buy and it’s totally worth it!
What is your #1 tip for new bloggers? Don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re a mom. You grow. You change. And so will the blog. Whether it’s the content or how often you post, do the best you can with where you are.
Jessica – Trekking Tots
Jessica lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband, 4yr old son and dog. She blogs about the possibility of traveling with a child in hopes to inspire other families to adventure together. When she is not traveling she loves to hike and camp with her family as well as go to music festivals. Jessica’s post have been featured in Scary Mommy and Huffington Post.
What is your favorite thing about MommyCon? Mommy Con has becoming a movement more than anything for new moms. I love how inspirational it has become to mother’s of all walks of life. It’s a community that expands past the convention and lingers as support for mothers new and old.
Princess – The Mom In Me
Princess, creator of The Mom In Me Blog, is from the Bronx, New York. She moved to Atlanta in 2009 and now lives between Atlanta and Mississippi. She is a business owner, lactation consultant and mother of two (girl age 12 and son age 1) with a baby girl due on March.
What is your favorite thing about MommyCon? I LOVE that MommyCon is all about natural parenting. From baby wearing to cloth diapering. I am a semi-crunchy mom and I’ve always practiced all things natural; since I was in high school.
SaraRuth – So This is Life
Living life in rural, Appalachian Georgia is an adventure SarahRuth takes seriously. She and her three sons (Blaze age 4, Brave age 2, and Benaiah 10 months) spend their summers at local lakes, the Spring and Autumn chasing waterfalls, and the Winters sipping hot cocoa in their all weather room. SarahRuth and her Husband, Jonah homeschool their children, enjoy eating local, traditionally prepared foods, advocate extended breastfeeding, and support natural parenting.
What is your favorite thing about MommyCon? MommyCon gives me an opportunity to speak to the people that make the items I love using every day with my boys and my family. I also enjoy spending time with girlfriends and their littles.
