Grilling with Garlic at Your Summer Barbecue!

A little over a year ago, I stopped by a wing place near my house. They had so many wing flavors, it was hard to choose one. I saw a flavor called Honey Garlic Pepper, which sounded delicious so I decided to try it!

I have to say that I was glad I did. They were extremely good, especially since I love garlic. After this experience, I decided to make my own version of the sauce that was on the wings and grill a cornish hen. We grill/bbq all the time, even on rainy days, so I’m always excited to try out a new recipe! This recipe is perfect for your next summer barbecue with family and friends and I know they’ll leaving raving about the flavor!

Ingredients:
1 cornish hen (1lb)
2 tsp of ginger paste
3 tbsp of teriyaki sauce
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp of minced garlic
1 tsp of black pepper

Directions:

First, in a bowl, mix 1 tsp of ginger paste, 1 tbsp of minced garlic and 1 tbsp of teriyaki sauce in a bowl. Once mixed, put the mixture inside of the cornish hen.

Then mix the rest of the seasonings in a bowl (1 tsp of ginger paste, 2 tbsp of teriyaki sauce, 3 tbsp of honey, 1 tbsp of minced garlic and 1 tsp of black pepper) and pour it on the cornish hen. Allow it to marinate for a few hours (2 hours) or allow it to marinate over night.

Put the cornish hen on the grill and cook for 45 minutes to an hour, making sure to turn the bird over frequently so you don’t burn it.
