Dining Options Near MommyCon Orange County

This post was written by MommyCon Blogger Collective member, Rai Zapata, of She’s Cataleya’s Mommy.

This year is flying by and I can’t believe MommyCon is next weekend! I wanted to share with you a few places to eat that are walking distance from the Hilton Orange County. I’ve linked the menus to the eateries’ name and the walking directions to the addresses.

I’m a sucker for coffee cafes and this place’s indoor/outdoor ambiance is perfection. I’ll be swinging by before the event for a Lavender Latte and possibly an Acai Bowl, since we will be driving down from Santa Clarita.

While we were down in the area shooting the video we ate here, before we found that hidden gem The CAMP, see below. It was our first time there and boy their burgers are huge! Be sure to ask about their hidden menu you won’t be disappointed.

We found this hidden gem while walking around. If we were driving around, we would have completely missed this plaza. Below are a few spots I’m eyeing to try out.

Native Foods Cafe (.3 mi)
2937 Bristol Street E100, Costa Mesa, CA

Native Foods Costa Mesa

You will see this vegan restaurant when you instantly walk into the CAMP plaza. A huge menu selection from nachos to build your own burgers and handmade drinks, you’ll find something for everyone. They even have a kid’s menu!

Project Juice (.3 mi)
2937 Bristol Street Suite B, Costa Mesa, CA

This one is tucked in the back, in the corner, a little behind Native Foods. After a day of walking around, pick up a cold-pressed juice for the walk back to the Hilton. It will re-hydrate and cool you down. They even have pre-packaged items, like veggie spring rolls, or salads for on the go.

Mitsuwa Marketplace (.02 mi)
665 Paularino Ave, Costa Mesa, CA

Mitsuwa Marketplace

This is literally across the street to the Hilton hotel. Inside the marketplace are a variety of Japanese restaurants, from sushi all the way to some delicious ramen.

I hope you enjoyed the video and these suggestions where to eat while at MommyCon. I can’t wait to meet and possibly run into you, so don’t be shy and say hi!
