Minneapolis Venue Change
MommyCon Minneapolis is around the corner, and we have some good news and bad news that we need to share with you today. Let’s start off with the bad news. The bad news is MommyCon Minneapolis is switching venues. Whew, now that we’ve gotten that off our chests, let’s get to the good news. The good news is that we are switching venues because the demand for MommyCon Minneapolis has far exceeded our expectations! (That’s pretty cool, right? We think so!)
We want MommyCon Minneapolis to be the best MommyCon to date, and in order for us to create a fun-filled day that provides the highest quality speakers, workshops, exhibitors and amenities – we needed to change venues to accommodate the space for all these amazing people. Our new venue nearly triples the square footage of our former space.
What does this mean for you? Well, instead of driving to the Hilton Bloomington/Minneapolis, you can now drive, walk or take the light rail (less than two blocks away) directly to the Marriott City Center. This gorgeous hotel is located on the historic Nicollet Mall with hundreds of shops, restaurants and sites providing endless fun to be had both in and outside of our new venue.
Also, you will have access to more workshops, over a dozen speakers, 35+ exhibitors, big giveaways, and even a snack break! Yes, you read that right; we will provide sweet treats and delicious delights for you to nosh on during your day at MommyCon. Even more good news, the hotel is offering a concession stand for attendees to purchase lunch allowing you to stay and eat at the event without having to leave the venue during our lunch break.
We sincerely hope our devoted attendees understand our predicament and that it doesn’t negatively impact your plans. We want to ensure you that nothing else is changing. Our hours will stay the same, VIP day is still Friday (tickets go on sale in March) and the main event day is Saturday from 9a-5p.
Stay tuned for our preview schedule, which will be revealed later this month! Thank you again for your continued support of MommyCon. We cannot wait to see you in Minneapolis!
If you previously had booked a hotel room at the Hilton, you are more than welcome to keep your reservation and drive to our new venue, otherwise you will soon be able to book a room at the Marriott by calling (612) 349-4000 and asking for the “MommyCon” rate.
